The numerous challenges faced by professionals working with individuals with special needs lead to burnout. This burnout can significantly impact the behaviors exhibited by professionals, causing a decrease in work efficiency and even raising doubts about the personal and professional aspects of employees. This study seeks to evaluate the behaviors displayed by professionals in situations of high burnout. Behaviors such as internal states, social approach, increased violence, feelings of guilt, and demotivation at work are some of the main behaviors that may appear, diminishing the quality of work with the groups they work with and who receive services in institutions. On the other hand, these behaviors also affect the work environment among colleagues, causing burnout for them as well. The findings of this study aim to highlight these behaviors and emphasize institutional interventions in offering supportive programs for work-life balance to minimize work-related burnout, thereby increasing the quality of services for individuals with disabilities of any level.
