Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly reshaping business management worldwide by enhancing operational processes and data-driven decision-making, also in the field of education by enhancing teaching, learning, and institutional management through curricula innovation. This study examines the adoption and strategic implications of AI technologies among businesses in Albania, a developing economy where empirical evidence remains scarce. The research investigates how Albanian enterprises integrate AI into their operations, focusing on its perceived benefits, challenges, and impact on business performance. A structured online questionnaire was distributed to 62 business representatives across multiple sectors, and the collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression techniques to evaluate adoption factors, perceived value, and operational effects. The findings indicate that approximately 60.7% of surveyed businesses have implemented AI, primarily in customer service, marketing, and data analytics. Reported benefits include improved decision-making, enhanced operational efficiency, and better customer experience, while barriers such as high initial investment costs, workforce skill gaps, and data privacy concerns remain significant. The results highlight the growing but uneven adoption of AI in Albania and underline the need for national strategies that focus on digital skills development, ethical data governance, and support for small and medium-sized enterprises. Indirectly, this study helps to organize educational methodologies for integrating AI into business management and various fields of finance. These insights provide a foundation for policymakers, educational managers and business leaders to foster responsible and strategic AI integration that strengthens competitiveness in both local and international markets.
