Administrative Creativity: An Entrance into Achieving Competitive Advantage at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University

The research attempted to determine the role of "administrative creativity" in Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University's competitive advantage from the leadership's perspective. The study aims to design a plan to activate and deploy administrative creativity as a competitive advantage in line with Saudi Vision 2030. The researcher used a questionnaire with 5 key themes and 47 items to collect data. The survey covered all academic leaders of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, including deans and department chairs. The researcher surveyed 172 people from the study's population. In 2022, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University used the research instrument. According to the study, the arithmetic mean for administrative creativity at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University was 3.13. It also concluded that there are no statistical gender disparities, just years of service differences. Based on the results and literature evaluations, a recommended approach was designed to activate and implement "administrative creativity" at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University. The report also advocated preserving administrative creativity, continuing training, offering incentives to encourage innovation, and providing administrative policies, processes, and procedures to retain creative and skilled staff. The report also advocates adopting tactics that leverage the university's resources, expertise, and creativity. In addition, the university must possess a few resources to gain a competitive advantage.
