Abstract

This study explores the factors that influence employment in the field of information and communication technology (ICT), focusing on the role of university instruction across different faculties. A quantitative research design was used, and data were collected from students through questionnaires. Two groups were selected using cluster random sampling: a test group (N = 298) and a non-test group (N = 318). Pearson correlation was used to examine the relationships between variables, and multiple linear regression was conducted to identify which factors best predict ICT employment. The results show a moderate to strong positive correlation between the independent variables and ICT employment outcomes. Among these, lecturer competence emerged as the strongest predictor, while lecturers’ attitudes toward ICT use had the weakest influence. Other significant predictors included the availability of ICT tools, integration of ICT into the curriculum, and teaching effectiveness.
