The Relationship between Creativity and Job Self-Efficacy of Physical Education Coaches in the City of Malayer
Abstract
This study investigates the relationship between creativity and self-efficacy of sport education coaches in city of Malayer. Two questionnaires of Jazani's job creation (2003) and Betz's self- efficacy (1996) were used to collect data. The statistical study population included all male and female athletic trainers of Malayer city during the academic year of 2015-16, whom, according to the Department of Education of Malayer were 90 people; and the sample had involves all the same number of members in study population. To analyze the data and in order to determine the normality of society Kolmogorov–Smirnov test and to test the hypotheses, Pearson correlation and regression analysis were used. The result of testing hypothesis showed that there was a significant relationship between creativity and self- efficacy. In this regard, between the subscales of self-efficiency testing that are including the right self-assessment, career awareness, the ability to choose target, the ability for future planning and problem solving skill with creativeness, there are significant relationship of ?=0.05 have been existed. But between the years of service and job creativity did not exist a significant relationship of ?=0.05. We conclude that creating fields of job creativity and job self-efficiency in guidance of sports team is very effective and having of high positions. Employment of young sport coaches having high academic degrees is necessary to guidance of sport teams in Sport Sub-Departments of Ministry of Education.Downloads
